Summer is a beautiful time on SongCroft Farm. Our calendula is in full bloom. We are harvesting the resinous blossoms on an almost daily basis. These powerful little flowers will be used to create our Calendula Oil and combined with the chamomile we grow to make our Chamomile and Calendula Toner.

Our customers love the gentle powers of these plants. They love the way their skin feels when they use them and can see positive results after just a short time. The bees also appreciate the chamomile and calendula. They love the abundance and bright colors as they forage from one blossom to another. We are happy with how healthy our hives have been despite the colony collapse situation bees face. We attribute at least part of their good health to the herbal constituents in these medicinal flowers.
